Mam szczescie przebywac na terenie Jury Szwabskiej, niewysokiego ale bardzo urokliwego pasma gorskiego, ktore obfituje w groty i jaskinie. W jednej z nich znaleziono miedzy innymi figurke Wenus, najstarsza znana rzezbe przedstawiajaca ludzka postac, mozna ja teraz ogladac w muzeum w Blaubeuren. Udalo mi sie wejsc do jednej z grot (jest to mozliwe tylko kilka dni w roku), gdzie posrod wielu paleontologicznych rzezb znaleziono rowniez dwa male flety wykonane z ptasich kosci, najstarsze dotychczas odkryte instrumenty muzyczne. Cala grupa siedziala w jaskini sluchajac nagrania z muzyka grana na tych prastarych instrumentach, piekny ton wprawil wyobraznie w ruch. Bywalcy tych jaskin sprzed okolo 40.000 lat mogli byc prekursorami zarowno rzezby jak i muzyki.
Na terenie Jury Szwabskiej, w okolicy Zwiefalten znajduje sie jedyna w Niemczech jaskinia wodna - Wimsener Hohle. Mozna do niej wplynac na waskiej lodce z przewodnikiem, ktory wprawia ja w ruch odpychajac sie rekami od kamiennych scian. Sklepienie jest bardzo niskie i przez wiekszosc czasu trzeba uwazac na glowe, ale kolory wody sa cudowne, szmaragd i blekit. Niestety trasa dla turystow nie jest zbyt dluga, wstep do chyba najpiekniejszej czesci maja tylko doswiadczeni pletwonurkowie.

I'm feel lucky living by the Swabian Alb, not so high but very charming mountain range, which is full of caves and caverns. In one of them archaeologists found a figurine of Venus, the oldest known sculpture of a human figure, it can now be seen in a museum in Blaubeuren. I managed to get into one of the caves (this is possible only a few days a year) where, among many paleontological sculptures, two small flutes made from bird bones have been discovered. They are the oldest musical instruments discovered so far. The whole group sat in the cave listening to recordings of music played on the ancient instruments, beautiful tone set the imagination in motion. Residents of this caverns from about 40,000 years before are believed to be precursors to both sculpture and music.
Wimsener Hohle, the only German underwater cave is also located in Swabian Alb, near Zwiefalten. It can be entered on a narrow boat with a guide, who puts the boat in motion, pushing himself away from the stone walls. The vault is very low and most of the time you have to watch out for your head, but water colors are wonderful, emerald and azure. Unfortunately the route for backpackers is not too long, the prettiest parts can only be experienced by scuba divers.
