Lucky number 11

Odkąd pamiętam 11 przynosiła mi szczeście, myślę, że wciąż przynosi. Jedenaście lat temu poznałam Luke'a i zaczęliśmy naszą wspólną podróż przez życie. Jedenaście lat temu spędziliśmy kilka miesiący poznając Majorkę i poznając siebie w jej pięknej scenerii. Zrobiliśmy tam sobie proste bransoletki z pestek arbuza i turkusowych paciorków, innym razem wzięliśmy improwizowany ślub w stylu hinduskim (ubogim).
Byliśmy więc tylko my i super świadkowie - Anka z Sebastianem, plus tłumaczka oczywiście.
Reszta świata zniknęła na moment, a my zostaliśmy zamknięci w szczęśliwej bańce. Siempre mejor.

Since I can remember 11 was my lucky number, I think it still is. Eleven years ago I met Luke and our journey together through life has started. Eleven years ago we spent a few months exploring Mallorca and getting to know each other in it's beautiful scenery. During our stay there we made simple bracelets for each other, watermelon seeds and turquoise bead, some other time we improvised Hindu style marriage (version for the poor). The bracelets are still with us and they are gaining character with every passing year. After eleven years of being together we decided to get married, officially.
Unfortunately due to various reasons gathering our closest family together in one place would be difficult and we didn't want to wait any longer. Apart from us, there were only super witnesses -  Anna and Sebastian, and a translator. I thought I would be chilled and relaxed as there was hardly anyone with us and all was kept very simple but small stress decided to show up. Luckily it was gone very quickly.
26.08.2017 was a very happy day, the sun was shining, all went well, there was good company and delicious food and the best Portuguese wine. For a moment the rest of the world stopped existing and we stayed in a happy bubble. Siempre mejor.

Family time Down Under

We finally made it to Australia, two brothers reunited after many years apart and living on opposite sides of the planet. A two week holiday to spend family time down under and meet the the new jewel of the planet, my niece, my brothers first born and daughter, Tippi. An unforgettable feeling that I cherish and keep close to my heart.

The city of Brisbane. A viewpoint not far from where we spent most of our two weeks in Australia.

We were very fortunate to spend a few days in Byron Bay, a few hours drive south of Brisbane along the the Gold Coast. Just outside of Byron Bay is this place, Crystal Castle, where we spent the morning walking around the gardens. Absolutely beautiful.

This is a wishing tree, or prayer tree, I can't remember, same thing really. Anyway, what is written and tied to the tree is transported along the living network that is the Universe and instantly received by the One.

We found this really cool place to sit and restore our energy levels in the company of rose quartz.

These parrots are called Galah. In Australian slang, a Galah means a foolish person. These are one of the most abundant parrots and are found over most of Australia, including some offshore islands. The
availability of food and water in agricultural areas can allow them to occur in huge flocks.

Sleeping Joey.

It's so hot there during the day most creatures are sleeping.

A picture of a beautiful woman giving blessings for what she is about to eat. A plate of something called Momo's, Tibetan style. A selection of veg. wrapped in thin dough and quickly boiled. First time we tried them, delicious!!!
Sheila on the rocks.
Someone strutting their stuff for the local sheila's, I think his name was Bruce.

Far too long since we were altogether. It was a great time and a great feeling to be reunited, even if for a brief moment in time.

Beach life

Beach life. The good life. Something like 90% of the Australian population live somewhere along the coast. Here are a some pictures from the Gold Coast as to why that might be.

Byron Bay.

Giving the rugby ball a spin. Had to be done.

Surfers paradise, for the sharks too.

Just chilling, enjoying the view. Waves, sheila's, it can get a bit much sometimes, not knowing where to look.

Drinking in the beauty of the sunset.

"Looks like some fire dancing hippies up ahead."
