We made it to the aim of our travel. The journey toEl Bolson was extremly long but what a views. When we reached the boarders with Patagonia the surroundings changed completely, half desert spaces without any signs of civilization for a long while and then it all changed into beautifull green mountains which were cut by cristal clear rivers. It was really breath-taking!!!
We live with Blanca Rosa - older lady who calls herself granny, very warm person, knows a lot about permaculture. The granny teaches others about nature friendly way of living, runs a small hostel, guards the seeds and sells them on a weekly market, learns how to handmake felt, she sems quite a busy lady. We´re helping her in the garden and around the house, we have access to all the books on the you know what subjects. The deal is that we work 5days a week for six hours a day and in return we get accomodation and food, we cal also use internet. The house is pleasent, partly built from adobe, grass on the roof, we have our place on a small attic , all right, we have matresses and something which acompanies us from the beginning of the journey - floordrobe(apparently new word which joined the others in cambridge dictionary this year;)). The most important thing is that it´s warm here. The house is an open house and some friends spend a lot of time here, which sometimes is not that positive but what can we do.
So far we reorganised and prepared veg beds in a small greenhouse, today we cleaned the wool for felt making - an experience one in a kind. It´s second quality wool and after washing it needs to be cleaned which means picking all of the dirt and all sorts of small creatures which were enjoying the bolld of the sheep out - luckily they´re all dead.
El bolson and few people from "the circle" of new lifestyle and the whole preparation of new humans seem a bit stranage to us. Lots of talking about new social structures and new economy but when one takes a closer look into their lives doesn´t seem to match the declarations. And they are quite closed in their bubble thinking that they so some things for the first time in the world, not knowing what is happening in the subject in Europe, Japan or States and when we try to explain there´s like a wall. I don´t know it may just be our perception but we sense some false here and judging the others from the position of the higherone. The main principle of new economy here is so called treque - exchange of favours and goods without using money, we hear this word all the time. Beautifull idea but some transactions don´t seem to be fair, for example 5 nights in a hostel for free in exchange for fixing the doors wqhich takes only 30min, but it´s not our buiseiness in the end. The town is a bit overratted, beautifully situated amongs the mountains but we have impression that it´s fame destroyed it in a sense. But we discovered another amazing place close by, Lago Puelo situated by the lake in the neighbourhood of maountains, much smaller.
It´s "a bit" colder here athough the sun is fierce and catches the skin super quickly.
There must be something in Cordoba region which draws us there, the times spend there were the happiest oneas especially in Veilchental - even though we didn´t have a room or food provided it was amazing, real exchange of experiences not just work for other person. Anyway, I´m trying to hit my moaning tone, it´s good althouth the place appears different to the fame it has amongst the wwoofers and other types.
In weeks time our 3months argentinian visa expires and we´re planning one day crossing to Chile. 10 hours of trekking one way and we have to get back to as we want to spend some more time in Argentina. Dotarlismy do celu. Podroz do El Bolson byla niesamowicie dluga, ale coz za widoki. Kiedy wjechalismy w granice Patogonii krajobraz zmienil sie nie do poznania, polpustynne przestrzenie bez widoku zadnych zabudowan ciagnely sie bardzo dlugo by pozniej przemienic sie w przepiekne zielone gorskie tereny poprzecinane blekitnymi rzekami. Zapieralo dech w piersiach!!!
Mieszkamy teraz z Blanca Rosa - starsza pania, ktora o sobie mowi babcia, bardzo ciepla osoba, wie duzo o permakulturze. Babcia zajmuje sie nauczaniem innych o przyjaznym srodowisku sposobie zycia , prowadzi hostel, gromadzi nasiona i sprzedaje je na cotygodniowym targu, chodzi na kurs recznego wyrabiania filcu, generlanie rzecz biorac jest bardzo zajeta osoba. Pomagamy jej w ogrodku i przy domu, mamy dostep do duzej ilosci ksiazek, ktore zgromadzila na wiadome tematy. Umowa jest taka, e pracujemy piec dni w tygodniu, 6 godzin dziennie i w zamian dostajemy dach nad glowa i jedzenie, dostep do internetu. Dom przyjemny, zbudowany czesciowe z gliny, dach pokryty trawa, mamy swoje miejsce na malym stryszku, w miare ok, matrace i oczywiscie cos co towarzyszy nam od poczatku pobytu w Argentynie czyli floordrobe ( podobno nowe slowe, ktore wkroczylo do slownika cambridge w tym roku;)). Najwazniejsze jest to, ze jest cieplo. Dom jest domem otwartym, przewija sie przez niego kilku stalych przyjaciol Rosy, co czasami nie jest do konca pozytywne, ale coz robic. Poki co przeogranizowalismy troche politunel i wyczyscilismy troche grzadek pod wysiew, dzis przygotowalismy welne pod wyrob filcu - doswiadczenie jedyne w swoim rodzaju. Welna jest drugiego gatunku i po wypraniu trzeba ja troche przygotowac co oznacza wybieranie brudow i roznego rodzaju pasozytow, ktore roskoszowaly sie krwia danej owcy .- na szczescie sa juz martwe.
El Bolson i kilkoro "ludzi z kregu" wtajemniczonych w nowy styl zycia i zmiane ludzkosci jawi sie nam dosc dziwnie. Duzo rozmow o nowych zmianach spolecznych i nowej ekonomii a kiedy blizej przyjrzec sie ich stylowi zycia nie do konca pokrywa sie z deklaracjami. I sa troche zamknieci w swojej bance, wydaje im sie, zeniektore rzeczy robia bardzo innowacyjnie, nie bardzo wiedza co dzieje sie w tym temacie w Europie, Japonii, Stanach, a kiey czlowiek stara sie wyjasnic natyka sie na mur. No nie wiem, moze to tylko my, ale wyczuwamy tu pewna nieszczerosc i ocenianie innych z pozycji wyzszego. Glownym srodkiem ekonomii jest tu tak zwane treque - wymiana dobr bez uzycia pieniedzy, slyszymy to slowo co chwila, piekna idea tylko nektore z transakcji wydaja sie byc malo zbalansowane. To znaczy za 5 nocy w hostelu, polgodzinna naprawa drzwi. ale to w sumie nie nasza sprawa. Miasteczko jest troche przereklamowane, choc pieknie polozone wsrod gor to ma sie wrazenie, ze slawa je zniszczyla w penym sensie. Znalezlismy za to piekne miejsce niedaleko, Lago Puelo polozone nad jeziorem, otoczone gorami, mniejsze, zupelnie inne uczucie.
Jest tu "troche" zimniej choc slonce bardzo mocno grzeje i opala w ekspresowym tempie.
Musi cos byc w obrebie Cordoby, co przyciaga nas jak magnes, czasy tam spedzone zaliczamy do najszczesliwszych, szczegolnie pobyt w Veilchental - pomimo tego, ze nie mielismy tam zapewnionego ani jedzenia ani pokoju bylo bosko, prawdziwa wymian doswiadczen a nie tylko praca i zaleznosc od drugiej osoby.
No nic, nie mam zamiaru wchodzic na marudzace tereny, bo jest dobrze, tylko jak zawsze poki co miejsce jawi sie zupelnie inne niz jego slawa wsrod wwooferow i innych typow. Za tydzien wygasa nasza trzymiesieczna wiza wiec planujemy przejscie na jeden dzien do Chile. 10 godzin wedrowki w jedna strone, a wrocic tez trzeba bo chcemy zostac a Argentynie przez kilka nastepnych miesiecy. Na piechote, z namiotem i pelnym prowiantem przez gory wzdluz jezior, po drodze nic oprocz stacji zandarmerii argentynskiej i chilijskiej - ciekawa relacja z tego przejsca pod tym linkiem:
