The meat deserves an entry unto itself. It´s relatevely cheap, for example a kilogram of chicken costs as much as a litre of tomatoe puree or kilogram of oats, and for kg of beef one has to pay as much as for 2kg of bread or 4litres of cheapest milk. They consume great amounts of meat here which is understandable when you consider the price. The positive aspect is that once the anomal is killed everything is eaten, there´s no waste. We can´t identify everything we see on the meat shelves, some still have parts of fur on it. Some of it we don´t have problem with at all.

Mieso zasluguje na osobny wpis. Jest stosunkowo tanie, na przyklad kilogram kurczaka kosztuje tyle co litr przecieru pomidorowego albo kilo platkow owsianych, a za kilo wolowiny trzeba zaplacic tyle co za 2 kilo chleba albo za 4 litry najtaszego mleka. Konsumuje sie tu ogromne ilosci, co biorac pod uwage na cene nie jest dziwne. Pozytywne jest tu to, ze po zabiciu zwierzecia zjada sie wszystko, nic sie nie zmarnuje. Nie potrafimy zidentyfikowac wszystkiego, co widzimy na miesnych polkach, niektore produkty sa podawane jeszcze z czescia wlosia.
